ROAR Airdrop for KUJI Stakers on Plasma

This is something I didn’t expect to ever say in my life, but The Lion DAO — created by Senator The Ryan Lion — is airdropping their ROAR token to KUJI stakers. In a partnership with Fuzion, a “bespoke airdrop” will be available on Plasma Tuesday 18th April 12 PM UTC for the first 2000 to claim it. They have also provided a video that details how to bridge ROAR from Kujira to Terra and stake in Lion DAO.

Local Next Steps

For those that don’t know, the Local team will be passing over ownership of the protocol to the Kujira team while the next steps are resolved. The formation of a Local DAO that will then reclaim full ownership of Local is currently underway and we are confident this is the best way forward.

Kujira Sentinel

This week, we announced Kujira Sentinel — “the technical version of the Senate”. By providing the CW4 multisig contract address with chain-wide contract instantiate permissions, we’ll create better development velocity and autonomy for protocol builders, without sacrificing security.

By delegating contract instantiation permissions to a multisig of a select group of technical experts, deployed code can be assessed and verified more rigorously than is currently possible with global governance deployments.

Long-term, the Kujira Sentinel will create a foundation for a peer-led audit and review process, significantly reducing the cost to teams launching new protocols. Thanks ChatGPT.
