⚡️Rujira updates

Updated Roadmap

With most of the groundwork for the App Layer nearly complete, we now have a clearer vision for the months ahead and created an updated version of the roadmap to share with you.

These are the key updates:

The Merge and TGE
• The Merge is scheduled to go live on February 27th. Users will be able to migrate and lock their merge tokens, but withdrawing RUJI won’t be possible just yet. More details about the Merge will be shared in a post later this week.
• RUJI Token Generation Event (TGE): Planned for the end of March.

Products
• The Merge, staking contracts, and RUJI Trade are ready for audit.
• RUJI Pools and RUJI Perps are nearing audit readiness.
• RUJI Lending, RUJI Liquidations, and RUJI Ventures will be next.
• For RUJI Agents, a MVP version is targeted for release before the TGE.
• RUJI Leagues: Our points-based competition to earn periodic RUJI rewards is expected to launch in April.

With RUJI Trade and Pools being audited and almost ready for mainnet, we’re close to a new phase for both Rujira and DeFi.

London Event

Pragmatic Monkey shared his experience on last week’s meet-up in London. It was an exciting week with lots of builders from Rujira core team, Levana, Vultisig, Nami, Axion, AutoRujira, and MantaDAO sharing ideas and working together on a plan for the next few months.

There were sessions covering a wide variety of topics:
• Delta-neutral strategies to de-risk the THORChain Base Layer.
• Advanced analytics for tracking Rujira’s activity.
• Development of the AI Agents Layer for secure human-machine collaboration.
• Plans for RUJI Leagues and the TGE.

The week finished with our Rujira x Noble event at BrewDog and it was a great way to relax and prepare for the months ahead.

Cross-chain DeFi rails for humans and machines

At Rujira, our vision is to build cross-chain rails for both humans and machines. With AI and AI agents expected to drive a significant portion of on-chain transactions within a year, we are uniquely positioned to support AI agents with our diverse DeFi product suite, the native assets and deep liquidity of THORChain, and Vultisig, which provides AI agents with a secure way to interact on-chain without the risk of compromised private keys.

We’re working closely with AI developers and projects to create the ideal environment for their success and a key part of onboarding AI agents to Rujira will be our RUJI Agents product.

AutoRujira have shared their plans for AI agents and we are exited on the role that they will play in making RUJI Agents a reality. The first MVP of RUJI Agents is set to launch this March!

⚡️Ecosystem news

Testing the products

Over the past few weeks, KujiraIndex has teased us with updates on what they are cooking, including a 60% $KUJI / 40% $MNTA index and last week the rebalancing feature. We just got the news that they wrapped up internal testing and are ready for external testers!

Rujira Academy x University of Bristol

The Rujira Academy has also made great progress, and shared with us an update on the MSc Fintech module at the University of Bristol! The update includes finalizing the handbook for the students, setting up the application and onboarding process, and wrapping up Phase 2 of the program.

Education will play an important role in onboarding the next billion users, and Rujira Academy is leading the way!
