⚡️Rujira updates
CosmWasm and the Merge
Thursday we received the great news that stagenet has been upgraded to v3.3, and Hans and the Nine Realms team have immediately begun testing.
The process of getting CosmWasm live on mainnet is taking longer than expected due to circumstances beyond our control (such as the Bybit hack, the subsequent efforts by the 9R team to track funds, and a change in 9R leadership) but we are getting close to the Merge date.
Once we are confident in v3.3’s security on stagenet, THORChain nodes will vote to deploy the upgrade to mainnet (expected to happen next week). Once live, the Merge will follow shortly after.
THORChain v3.4
While the spotlight was mainly focused on the THORChain v3.3 upgrade the past weeks, the teams have been working on upgrade v3.4 which is set to be an important one as well, especially for THORFi users.
The v3.4 upgrade will include:
- The implementation of $TCY, allowing THORFi debt holders to claim and stake the token.
- The Token Factory, an x/denom module which is needed to create App Layer tokens (incl. RUJI token)
- LP control Mimirs, which will enable Dual Liquidity Providers to benefit from synthetic reflexivity.

Zellic’s DAODAO audit
Zellic has completed the audit for the new DAO vote delegation feature! This feature allows DAO members to delegate their voting power to someone they trust.
We love DAODAO’s contribution to the crypto space and are excited for their deployment on Rujira, bringing this and other powerful tools for DAO’s to leverage.
Kick-off and progress Rujira Academy
On Monday February 24th, Rujira Academy kicked off with over 50 enthusiastic students from the MSc FinTech module and several societies.
Since then, students have been conceptualizing their crypto ideas and submitted their Product Vision Reports on March 5th, outlining their initial concepts for a decentralized application. These reports will be reviewed by the faculty, Hans, and JP Kuji, who will guide the students through the PVR Review calls to refine the ideas. More information here.
We are looking forward to the products that the next generation of builders will create!
AutoRujira x Rayuela
Great news from the AutoRujira team as they have been selected as one of the 50 startups for Rayuela! As part of the program, they will participate in speed networking with mentors, a dedicated day for investment and entrepreneurship, discussions with founders and experts, and a demo day for the top 10 projects.
Knowing the team and the incredible products they’re building, we are confident that they will do great.
