NAMI Protocol – Weekly Development Update #6

SHARE

Welcome back to another update from the NAMI Protocol team. This week has been a whirlwind of activity and challenges, so let’s dive right in.

Team Updates

Unfortunately, our co-founder @exalkas has been in the hospital for the last week. It’s been a tough week without his input, but fortunately he’s recovering. We anticipate he’ll be back with us in another week or so. In the meantime, we’re pushing forward as best we can.

Development Highlights

Code Review and Smart Contract Optimization

This week, I focused on an internal code review, primarily addressing typical blockchain-specific logic issues such as rounding and type inconsistencies. We have a meeting scheduled for Monday to estimate the time required for a comprehensive code review of the entire logic by a professional.

Community Engagement

Lisbon Meetup

We’re excited to sponsor an upcoming event in Lisbon, hosted by Kujira Academy / The Block. This event, scheduled for July, will be a fantastic opportunity to pitch our ideas to a broader, crypto-native audience and receive valuable, unbiased feedback.

Upcoming Meetups

Zurich Meetup: Next Friday, we’ll be meeting in Zurich. 21st, 19:00

Athens Meetup: Scheduled for June 29th, assuming Alkis is well enough to attend. If not, JP will be there to represent NAMI Protocol alone.

User Experience and Future Plans

Simplifying User Experience

I’ve been rethinking the user experience for NAMI. I’m starting to think the goal must be to strip down our interface to its most essential elements, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user journey. The idea is to make NAMI exceptionally easy to use while offering the most professional experience. This approach will help us attract and retain our first hundred thousand users by offering a straightforward and efficient service.

Closing Thoughts

Thank you for sticking with us through this update. We’re committed to continuous improvement and value your support and feedback. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to check out our upcoming events if you’re nearby. Have a great weekend and good luck with your football bets!

Best regards,

JP from NAMI
